Who can use KILOGEAR?
KILOGEAR is made for everyone ages 8 and up, from athletes to beginners, professionals, and busy parents. Each garment's removable weights allow you to customize the resistance for your comfort and goals. If you have medical conditions, check with your physician before use.
What makes KILOGEAR different from other weighted products?
KILOGEAR moves with you. Our medical-grade compression and patented internal weight channels distribute load evenly, supporting muscle activation without bounce, strain, or restriction. It is wearable resistance engineered for real life.
Sand-based weights are bulky and do not mold to the body. Traditional steel and powder-coated iron products are hard against the body and do not flex. KILOGEAR was designed to solve both problems.
Is KILOGEAR safe for kids and teens?
Yes. KILOGEAR was developed with pediatric orthopedic input and is safe for ages 8 and up. The micro-load design promotes strength and coordination while reducing injury risk from overtraining or poor mechanics.
Using KILOGEAR
How much weight should I start with?
Begin with the Partially Weighted option to allow your body to adapt, then progress to Fully Weighted as you gain strength. Every garment uses removable weights, so you can easily scale up or down.
The incremental system works best when you start light and build over time. Slight load applied consistently throughout the day has a greater impact than heavy load worn briefly.
Do I need to work out while wearing KILOGEAR?
Not necessarily. Simply wearing KILOGEAR during your daily routine increases calorie burn and strengthens stabilizing muscles. For faster results, combine with structured activity or sport-specific drills.
Can I wear KILOGEAR for daily activities or sports?
Absolutely. Our system enhances everything from walking and chores to sports training and gym workouts. Athletes use KILOGEAR to improve power, coordination, and endurance in sports like baseball, flag football, running, and yoga.
Can I wear KILOGEAR under a shirt or blouse?
Yes. KILOGEAR's lightweight fabrics and low-profile weights make it comfortable and discreet to wear under clothing.
What kind of results can I expect?
Results vary depending on your lifestyle, diet, and activity levels. While typical weight loss is about 1 pound per week, KILOGEAR's incremental weight system helps the body burn calories more efficiently when paired with regular movement.

The Weights
What are the weights made from?
Our weights are a non-toxic steel composite, encased in soft, flexible rubber and sealed for safety and comfort.
What are the different weight sizes?
KILOMICRO weighs 0.25 lb each and measures 2 by 3 inches. KILOMAX weighs 0.50 lb each and measures 2 by 6 inches. Both are sold in packs of two and are fully removable.
How do we sell the weights?
Weights are sold separately in packs of two. You can add them during garment purchase or buy extras later.
How do I insert or remove the weights?
Turn the garment inside out, open the internal pocket, insert or remove the weights, then secure the flap. The design makes it quick and effortless.
Will the weights bounce or shift?
No. KILOGEAR garments use internal compression and secure flaps to lock each weight in place, keeping load distribution stable during any activity.
Care
How do I wash KILOGEAR?
Remove the weights before washing. Machine wash garments inside out, in cold water, with similar colors. Do not use fabric softener. Use low dryer heat or air dry.
Spot clean weights with a cloth, mild soap, and water. Wipe dry if they sweat.
Avoid washing with denim, zippers, Velcro, hoodies, or towels. Avoid fabric softener, as it inhibits fabric performance. Never wash the weights in a machine.
Can I wear KILOGEAR in the rain or water?
KILOGEAR fabrics are moisture-wicking and quick-dry, but the weights themselves are not waterproof. Avoid submerging them or wearing during extended exposure to water.
Sizing, Shipping, and Exchanges
How do I choose my size?
Check the sizing guide on each product page. If you are between sizes or need help, email support@kilogear.com.
When will my order arrive?
Orders ship the next business day from our Los Angeles facility. We pick and pack Monday through Friday. Most US orders arrive within 5 to 8 business days of being placed.

What if I need an exchange?
We offer free exchanges within 14 days of delivery, and we cover shipping both ways. Start your exchange at kilogear.com/returns.
Items must be clean, unworn, unwashed, and unused with all tags attached.
Customers in the EU, EEA, and UK have additional statutory rights, including the right to withdraw from a purchase for a refund. See our Return and Refund Policy.
Do you offer refunds?
In the US and most countries we operate an exchange-only policy. We do not offer refunds or store credit for change of mind, and we cover shipping both ways so exchanges cost you nothing.
Customers in the EU, EEA, and UK have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of delivery and receive a refund. Customers in Australia and New Zealand have statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded. See our Return and Refund Policy for details.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or is not what you ordered, contact support@kilogear.com. That is not limited to 14 days and does not require the item to be unworn.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. International shipping is calculated at checkout. Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your checkout total.

Warranty
What is covered under warranty?
KILOGEAR warrants that garments and weights are free of material defects in material and workmanship under normal use for six months from the date of purchase. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser.
Your exclusive remedy under this warranty is to return the product to KILOGEAR, and we will repair or replace any portion proving defective in material or workmanship at our discretion.
What is not covered?
The warranty does not apply to any product that has been subjected to abuse, alteration, misuse, or neglect. This includes damage caused by sharp objects or rough abrasive surfaces, improper washing, improper wearing, overuse, or repairs made by anyone other than KILOGEAR.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Email support@kilogear.com within the warranty period with your order number, a description of the defect, and photographs of the issue.
Failure to notify us of a defective product before the warranty period expires renders the warranty void for that product.
