How to Load KILOGEAR Weights

Load Up and Go!

Loading KILOGEAR weights is simple and quick, designed for athletes and parents to get started effortlessly. Follow these three steps to place weights securely in your gear, ensuring comfort and safety during sports or daily activities. For detailed research behind KILOGEAR’s design, visit our Science and Testing page.

Step #1: Get Ready to Load

Prepare your KILOGEAR for safe, effective training. Use the .25LB weights for tops and arm sleeves, .50LB for bottoms, keeping the plastic wrap on initially for easier loading (remove for washing). Follow the steps below to ensure secure, comfortable performance during sports or activities.

Step #2: Insert the Weights

Find the built-in weight pockets inside your KILOGEAR garment, typically along the legs for bottoms, arms for sleeves, or torso for tops. Check the interior tags for pocket locations, designed to hold weights securely during running, jumping, or sports, keeping your training safe and effective.

Step #3: Secure the Weights

Each weight pocket has our signature "secure flap" at the opening. Pull the flap over the weight, to cover the weight completely. This flap is designed to keep weights in place, preventing movement or slipping during activities like sports or workouts, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience for kids and adults.

Care for Your KILOGEAR

Wash Your Garments

Remove weights before washing. Machine wash on a gentle cycle using mild detergent and no bleach. When possible, air dry the garments in order to maintain fabric integrity. This keeps garments clean and durable for sports or daily use.

Clean Your Weights

Wipe your weights with water or a mild cleaning solution (e.g., soap and water) and a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals to maintain weight quality and ensure safe handling. Simply dry them or air dry them and re-load and get dressed!

Load Up and Go

With clean garments and weights, you’re ready to load up and train. Follow the loading steps to secure weights safely, ensuring comfort and performance during sports or workouts. Store gear in a dry place when not in use.
